Most recently, it expanded globally through a merger with Destination Sport Group (DSG) . A British based company, DSG encompasses leading sports travel companies, which helps thousands of clients travel to sport events around the world, specifically in the endurance running, cycling and triathlon sectors through its Destination Sport Experiences（DSE） brand. In addition to its current headquarters in Boston, MA USA, MTT has expanded its worldwide footprint with offices operating under the business name of Marathon Tours & Travel in Manchester, United Kingdom, Australia and China.
Its office in Boston, MA – the home of the world's oldest annual marathon – will continue to be the headquarters as the official travel agency for many of the world's most popular running events including the B.A.A. Boston Marathon, TCS Money London Marathon, TCS New York City Marathon, and many others.
Marathon Tours & Travel is additionally an event management company. It created and manages the Antarctica Marathon®️ & Half-Marathon and the Madagascar Marathon & Half-Marathon, which are two of several adventure events now offered.
The Antarctica events, established in 1995, enabled runners to set and reach the once unthinkable goal of finishing a marathon or half-marathon on all seven continents. Pursuantly, the official Seven Continents Club®️ was formed to recognize these runners and to offer special VIP services to international globetrotting distance runners.
