Race Times: 7:10 AM - Marathon
Course: Introduced in 2001, the Sydney Marathon followed the same course as the marathon during the 2000 Summer Olympics the previous year. The marathon finishes at the Sydney Opera House. In 2010 the marathon course was changed to flatten it out which, according to the organizers, makes it "a faster, more scenic and spectator friendly course". The Sydney Marathon, Half-Marathon and the 10 Km courses are AIMS Certified accurate courses.
Entry Fee: Sydney Marathon – RMB 690 per person
Eligibility: Marathon – 18 years +
Time Limit： Sydney Marathon – 7 Hours. The event will have cut-off points along the route. For more information go here.
Awards: Everyone who finishes their running event within the time limit will receive a commemorative medal. Marathon finishers will also receive a finishers t-shirt.
Weather: September is the beginning of the spring season in Sydney. Daytime temperatures will range from (16°C - 20°C). You will want to be prepared for some potential chilly westerly winds and chance of rain.
